Biography

Alana de la Garza was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 18th 1976. She is an American actress probably best known for her film roles and appearance in NBC’s ‘Law & Order’.

Alana was raised in El Paso, Texas where she often took part in beauty pageants and modelling. She won the She won the title of "Miss Photogenic" in the Miss El Paso Teen USA which was a beauty pageant in her local area.
Alana enrolled in the University of Texas where she eventually became a special needs teacher and took studies in social work and physical therapy. After graduating Alana had a few small acting roles in Orlando, Florida before she made the important career decision to move to New York City. Things soon took off for Alana there when she got the part of Rosa Santos in the popular soap opera ‘All my children’.
From there she moved on to various guest roles in popular series such as ‘Charmed’ ‘Two and a half men’ ‘Jag’ and ‘Las Vegas’.
She also starred in the short lived TV series ‘The Mountain’ in which she played the role of Maria.

In 2005 she broke into the movie scene by starring alongside ‘Bones’ star David Boreanaz and later took on a guest role in the hugely popular show ‘Smallville’ in which she played an evil Kryptonian woman.
She had a recurring role as Marisol Delko on the CBS television series CSI: Miami and is now probably best known for her portrayal of Connie Rubirosa in the shows seventeenth season.
 
Her popularity as a talented and beautiful actress continues to grow and you are sure to see more of this woman in the future!
